Our founder and creative director, Kelsey, worked on the creative team at a major record label in Nashville, TN for 5 years before leaving to start Howdy Creative. While designing websites for the biggest names in country music, she learned the strategies and best practices that we use for our clients today.

While working at the label, Kelsey was frustrated by quick-turnarounds and a long list of artists that deserved more attention than what they were given. Here at Howdy, we invest our time into you and your music. We work with a limited number of artists at a time to truly understand each’s personality and vision. This allows us to create authentic cover art and websites that attract and engage a growing fan base.

It may sound cheesy, but it’s true. Country music isn’t just our 9-5 job. We were raised on country and know it through and through. Most days, we listen to it from the time we wake up to the time we go to bed. Kelsey’s leading passion for country music keeps us inspired on each and every project. Nice to meet you! I head up all of our album art and web design projects here at Howdy Creative, and I’m so excited you’re here.
Those who know me well know that I love country music. It’s what led me to Nashville in 2017 to work at one of the biggest record labels in town. I was so excited to pair my passion for design with my love of country music, and let me tell you those 5 years at the label were some of the best times of my life. I’m so thankful for my experience there and all that I learned, but amidst the pandemic and political agendas, I quickly realized that corporate culture isn’t my cup of tea. I absolutely loved designing for country artists but wanted to do it on my own terms.
Insert Howdy Creative – my very own design studio. I left the label and started my own business, which was the scariest but most rewarding thing I’ve done yet.
